Decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt on a transparent crackled glaze, with revolving foliage bordered into geometric patterns, depicting a sacred gathering scene in the center, where a seated Kannon Bosatsu and eight Rakans are engaging in spiritual discourse, as Sudhana the Golden Boy acolyte listening attentively nearby, in the landscape afar are a pagoda and a pavilion in the rolling hills. Signed on the underside in gilt over crimson cachet: Kyokuzan.
