An ornate Showa censer shaped like a large Zun 尊, with a trumpet-shaped rim, girded neck, broad sloping shoulder, and a high ring foot flared bottom. It features the classic design in the relief of whirling torrents and rolling clouds, with an intricate three-dimensional sculptural relief of a ferocious dragon emerging around the vessel. The censer is in shining bronze with a crimson-brown lacquered trumpet mouth. A Shachi-hoko (winged dragon fish) cartouche on the base containing the three-character seal mark: Peace Hall 和平堂. A superb cast dragon censer glistens metallic gold cloud and wave highlights on a luscious exterior. The antique brass koro is an impressive display for the home or office.
