Two small breaks to crown leaves, overall in good condition! A horse's head emerging at the apex is the definite avatar of Hayagriva, the wrathful manifestation of the Compassion Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. He is one of the warrior deities who conquers naga spirits. Hayagriva is believed to be especially effective to cure mental and physical illnesses.

As depicted in this large tantric ritual phurba used to conquer evil spirits to destroy obstacles. Each of the three-headed deity Hayagriva has three bulging eyes, large bushy eyebrows, opened mouths baring fangs and tongues, fierce and full of radiance as he emerges from the handle in the form of a Makara dragon, in which the three-sided dagger coming down into a definitive spike. This oversized phurba is an impressive ritual instrument, both for dispelling negative forces and revealing the shining reality of spiritual freedom. The phurba in the nine-tiers triangular pedestal is beautifully embedded with numerous sacred elements. Though it's a little wobbly, which can be secured with a tiny bit of earthquake putty.
